I am also certified in productive conflict, the five behaviors of a cohesive team, and an authorized partner of productive disc.
My education includes an undergraduate degree in Business & Legal Studies, Masters in Business Administration, and a Masters in Global Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. I am a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors a Licensed Minister and Certified Belief Therapist. Teaching Biblical Worldview & International Business Management at Dallas Baptist University is my hobby. Paige Portillo

Hi, my name is Paige Portillo and my passion as a counselor has always been to come alongside and assist others in finding God's purpose for their lives. I’ve been married to a Marine for 32 years which allowed me to live the world over for 22 years. We have three beautiful children and one delightful daughter-in-law. After retiring in 2012, our family returned to our home in Texas. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, and Bachelor of Social Work from the University of West Florida. I obtained my Master of Clinical Social Work from San Diego State University. I am a licensed Belief Therapist and a licensed minister.

My pursuit as a counselor began with my strong desire to serve others. After graduating and getting married, a short tour to Washington D.C. allowed me the opportunity to work in the capitol building for one of our U.S. congressmen. During that time, I learned I prefer to help on a one-on-one basis. A tour to Pensacola, FL allowed me to pursue my Bachelor of Social Work, as well as counsel high school youth who had been expelled. I also worked during that time helping families through the rehabilitation process. A subsequent move to southern California provided me opportunities to assist medically fragile children as well as patients in the behavioral health unit seeking safe aftercare.
